  4. What if the everyday price of the SmartOrder product changes?
    Occasionally, it may be necessary for us to increase our everyday prices. If that happens with your SmartOrder item, we will notify you of the new price via e-mail and give you the option to continue your SmartOrder or cancel. You will continue to receive a percent discount off the new everyday price.

    We will contact you via e-mail to let you know that we need a valid credit card number/expiration date to continue your SmartOrder shipments.

  7. When do I pay for SmartOrder shipments?
    You pay for SmartOrder items only as they are shipped. For each shipment, we will charge your credit card for the price of the item at the time the shipment is processed less the SmartOrder regular shipping discount, plus any applicable sales tax.

  8. What are my options for shipment frequency?
    GE makes recommendations for shipment frequency in one-month, two-month, three-month or six-month intervals. We will send out your shipment according to that schedule.

  9. Once I sign up, when will I get my first order?
    As soon as you sign up, we will begin processing your first order, and you will receive it in 5–7 business days.

  10. What happens after I get my first shipment?
    We will automatically process your next shipment on the schedule established when you signed up. Before each shipment, we will send you an e-mail to let you know the process is about to begin and give you a chance to make any necessary updates.

  11. How do I update my SmartOrder?
    You may change the billing address, shipping address, payment information, frequency of shipments and quantity shipped at any time by clicking on the “SmartOrder Subscription Program” links on GEApplianceParts.com or calling 877-959-8688. Updates will be applied to all future shipments associated with the SmartOrder. Changes made do not apply to shipments that have already entered the shipping process.

    There are no commitments. You can cancel your SmartOrder at anytime by clicking on the “SmartOrder Subscription Program” links on geapplianceparts or calling 877-959-8688. You will only be charged for orders that have shipped.

  14. My refrigerator has an indicator light that tells me when to change my filter. It says I don't need to change my filter every six months.
    GE recommends replacing your filter an average of 6 months, however the length of time may vary depending on how many gallons of water is used daily and how saturated your drinking water is. If you would prefer to change your filter every 12 months, choose 12 for the frequency.
